Applied Kinesiology is a diagnosis and treatment process that evaluates the structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using muscle testing with other standard methods of diagnosis. Muscle testing is performed by applying force to a target muscle and measuring the patient’s resistance. Muscle testing is used to diagnose what is imbalanced or not functioning properly, and can diagnose a variety of conditions, including problems with the nervous system, TMJ, and nutritional deficiency. The second part of applied kinesiology is the treatment process. Treatment can include chiropractic adjustments and nutritional analysis.
